Jack LaLanne Juicer: Is it Worth the Money?

With my mile-a-minute lifestyle, it’s not always easy for me to get the recommended five to nine daily servings of fruits and vegetables I need to stay healthy. For this reason, I juice to maintain my energy reserves and get the nutrients my body needs to thrive. When my old juicer went kaput, I had to replace it with another one. Instead of buying the same brand I had before, I decided to give the Jack LaLanne Juicer a try.

At first, I was hesitant to buy the Jack Lalanne Juicer because it was priced $50 more than I was prepared to pay. But after a few days of being brainwashed by late night infomercials my curiosity got the best of me and I forked over the extra cash.

Pros of the Jack LaLanne Juicer

The Jack LaLanne Juicer has a wide feeder that reduces the amount of time needed to cut produce. Small fruits and vegetables such as apples, cucumbers, celery and tomatoes can be dropped in whole. I appreciate that the Jack LaLanne Juicer helps me get the most bang for my buck by extracting significantly more juice out of the produce than my old juicer.

The motor on the Jack LaLanne Juicer is quiet, so when I juice early in the morning or late at night, it doesn’t disturb my family. The juicer has a clean, modern appearance that doesn’t compromise the décor of my kitchen. When I’m done using the juicer, I simply clean the strainer with a mild detergent, and a dish brush; wipe down the base with a damp cloth; and toss the other parts in the dishwasher.

Cons of the Jack LaLanne Juicer

There isn’t much I don’t like about the Jack LaLanne Juicer except for the extra part that’s required to tighten the blade. Since I’m always losing things, keeping up with the additional piece is a pain in the bum.

The Jack LaLanne Juicer is durable, reduces prep-time, saves money, and doesn’t sound like a lawnmower when it’s turned on. Overall, I’m pleased with the machine and believe it is worth every penny I spent.
